Meet Mona
Mona has worked in healthcare for 30 years as a Radiology Technologist. Her pilates credentials include a Certificate of Completion in a comprehensive program from Basi Pilates in Newport Beach, CA. Other certifications include Pilates for Injuries, Pathologies, Pilates for Scoliosis. She loves to motivate clients to have fun and feel better while instructing. She also enjoys helping clients inspire themselves and live more pain free.

What is a Foundational Class?
(All ages and levels) For individuals who are new to pilates or clients wanting to work on control and pace. This class helps focus on core strength, alignment, flexibility and controlled movements to build a strong foundation.
What is a Pilates Technique / Equipment Class?
Work on intermediate and advanced movements while continuing to work on proper form and alignment. This class works at a moderate pace as well while focusing on advanced techniques.

Mona is an exceptional instructor offering top of the line equipment and personalized guidance to build your strength and balance your mind. I was going to Club Pilates in Lake Oswego and got so tired of the over booked classes and cramped smelly studio but couldn't find many other options in the area until Mona opened her studio in Tigard. She is set up for small classes and the space is open and surrounded by nature. The other club was not providing guidance or oversight to ensure I was using the correct form to maximize the benefits and avoid injury. I didn't realize all the things I was doing wrong and putting strain on my back and knees until I had a session with Mona and she caught it right away. Mona is very knowledgeable, experienced and very tuned in to my abilities and knows when I am ready to do more and when not to push too much. Mona is a wonderful Pilates instructor! She was my GO TO person when she lived here in Los Angeles and I am sad she moved away, but I wanted to write a review since I have had Mona as my teacher for years. She understands my strengths and weakness and goals and works with me in each session. The Portland area is so fortunate to have a great teacher like Mona.
She truly understands the body and needs of each individual person and their goals. I wanted to strengthen my core as well as elongate my muscles. She works you hard, but in a good way. After each session I always felt grounded and taller ( I am 5' tall). As someone who has had years of ballet, I love how pilates is similar to the stretches and strength exercises of ballet.
